Rupiah Bergerak Melemah Sore Ini, Pasar Domestik Fokus Hasil Rapat BI Besok

Investing.com - Rupiah semakin bergerak melemah terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat pada penutupan perdagangan Rabu (15/07) petang. Pergerakan rupiah hari ini berbeda dari mayoritas mata uang Asia lain sebelum keputusan rapat dewan gubernur (RDG) Indonesia pada Kamis (16/07) besok.

Rupiah ditutup turun 0,95% di 14.587,5 sampai pukul 14.58 mengutip data Investing.com. Sementara dilansir CNN Indonesia Rabu (15/07), kurs referensi Bank Indonesia (BI) Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) menempatkan rupiah di posisi Rp14.616 per dolar AS atau melemah dibandingkan posisi kemarin yakni Rp14.512 per dolar AS.

Sore ini, mayoritas mata uang di kawasan Asia terpantau menguat terhadap dolar AS. tercatat naik 0,24 persen, dolar Taiwan 0,02 persen, won 0,43 persen, peso Filipina 0,13 persen, rupee India 0,37 persen, dan ringgit Malaysia 0,19 persen.

Senada, mayoritas mata uang di negara maju juga bergerak menguat. Poundsterling menguat 0,42 persen, dolar Kanada 0,25 persen, dolar menguat 0,36 persen, dan franc Swiss 0,14 persen.

Analis mengatakan pasar sedang menanti hasil rapat dewan gubernur (RDG) Bank Indonesia (BI) terkait suku bunga acuan. Bila sesuai rencana, bank sentral akan mengumumkan hasil rapat pada Kamis (16/7).

Ia bilang rupiah otomatis melemah jika bank sentral menurunkan suku bunga acuan. Hal ini karena keuntungan yang diterima investor akan semakin rendah.
