Nilai Tukar Rupiah Hari Ini: Ambruk di Hadapan Banyak Mata Uang

Mata uang Asia berbondong-bondong menekan dolar AS pada perdagangan spot hari ini, Selasa, 25 Agustus 2020. Mengecualikan dolar dan rupiah, pasukan Asia yang menjajah dolar AS meliputi dolar Taiwan, dolar , won, yen, dan yuan.

Benar saja, nilai tukar rupiah tengah tak berdaya melawan dolar AS hingga sempat jatuh ke level terdalam di angka Rp14.691 per dolar AS. Meski tipis, sampai dengan pukul 10.58 WIB, rupiah masih terkoreksi -0,08% ke level Rp14.677 per dolar AS.Â

Minimnya sentimen baik bagi rupiah membuat sang Garuda juga harus tunduk secara global. Jelang siang ini misalnya, rupiah tertekan di hadapan dolar (-0,25%), euro (-0,25%), dan poundsterling (-0,41%).Â

Tak beda jauh, kinerja rupiah di Asia juga merosot dan menjadi mata uang terlemah kedua setelah baht (0,09%). kini tertekan paling dalam oleh won (-0,32%) dan yuan (-0,19%). Selain dua mata uang itu, rupiah juga melemah terhadap dolar Singapura (-0,16%), dolar Hong Kong (-0,11%), yen (-0,09%), ringgit (-0,06%), dan dolar Taiwan (-0,06%).Â Penulis/Editor: Lestari Ningsih
