Dolar AS Naik Tipis Ditengah Ketidakpastian Ekonomi & Stimulus

Investing.com - AS beranjak naik tipis pada Rabu (19/08) pagi ini setelah turun di sesi sebelumnya akibat ketidakpastian pemulihan ekonomi dan paket stimulus fiskal di Amerika Serikat.

Sampai pukul 09.34 WIB, indeks dolar AS menguat tipis 0,04% ke 92,297 menurut data Investing.com setelah Selasa turun 0,63%. naik 0,06% ke 1,1936 dan 0,04% di 1,3241.

Sementara rupiah bergerak menguat 0,34% di 14.780,0 hingga pukul 09.36 WIB dan naik tipis 0,04% di 105,47.

Mengutip laporan yang dilansir Reuters Rabu (19/08) pagi, pelemahan dolar AS kemarin terjadi dinilai karena efek lanjutan dari program stimulus Federal Reserve yang melemahkan mata uang AS ini dan mendorong indeks saham AS ke rekor tertinggi.

Meskipun dolar sering dianggap sebagai tempat berlindung investasi di saat krisis, greenback malah telah jatuh sejak intervensi Federal Reserve masuk ke pasar keuangan untuk menjaga likuiditas di tengah pandemi covid-19.

Kebijakan The Fed telah mendorong aset berisiko ke level tertinggi sepanjang masa dan mengurangi permintaan safe-haven, bahkan ketika data ekonomi memproyeksikan pemulihan ekonomi suram di AS.

Investor kini menunggu rilis risalah pertemuan FOMC pada 28-29 Juli hari ini, dengan spekulasi The Fed akan mengadopsi target rata-rata inflasi, yang akan berusaha untuk mendorong inflasi di atas 2% selama beberapa waktu.
