Dolar AS Turun Tipis, Fed Targetkan Inflasi Tinggi & Fokus Tenaga Kerja

Investing.com - Dolar Amerika Serikat turun tipis pada Jumat (28/08) pagi setelah strategi baru Federal Reserve yang agresif untuk menopang sektor tenaga kerja dan meningkatkan toleransi atas tingkat inflasi yang tinggi mendorong kenaikan imbal hasil obligasi AS.

Indeks dolar AS turun tipis 0,04% ke 92,957 sampai pukul 09.11 WIB menurut data Investing.com. naik 0,10% ke 1,1833 dan menguat 0,20% di 1,3224. naik 0,20% di 1,3224.

Berbicara di simposium Fed di Jackson Hole mengutip laporan Reuters Jumat (28/08) pagi, yang diadakan melalui siaran virtual tahun ini, Ketua Fed Jerome Powell mengatakan bank sentral AS akan berupaya mencapai target rata-rata inflasi sebesar 2%, sehingga periode inflasi super rendah kemungkinan akan diikuti dengan upaya untuk menaikkan tingkat inflasi. “Cukup di atas 2% untuk beberapa waktu,” dan juga memastikan pemulihan ekonomi serta penciptaan lapangan kerja.

Imbal hasil obligasi AS bertenor 10 tahun, yang naik ketika harga obligasi jatuh, meningkat ke 0,7700% pada perdagangan Asia, level ini tidak terlihat sejak 16 Juni.

Trader yen kini akan mengalihkan fokusnya kepada konferensi pers Perdana Menteri Shinzo Abe hari ini di tengah meningkatnya kekhawatiran atas kondisi kesehatan pemimpin negeri sakura tersebut.
