Nilai Tukar Rupiah Hari Ini, 19 Agustus 2020: Nomor 1 di Asia

Nilai tukar rupiah perkasa tiada tanding, baik secara regional maupun global pada Rabu, 19 Agustus 2020. Dengan apresiasi tinggi, rupiah hari ini bergerak di kisaran level Rp14.700-an per dolar AS. Data defisit transaksi berjalan yang turun menjadi 1,2% dari PDB pada kuartal II 2020 menjadi stimulus bagi rupiah.Â

Dilansir dari RTI, sampai dengan pukul 09.55 WIB, rupiah menguat 0,72% ke level Rp14.754 per dolar AS. Pada awal pembukaan perdagangan spot, rupiah mencapai level terbaiknya di angka Rp14.719 per dolar AS.Â

Sang Garuda juga unjuk kekuatan di hadapan mata uang global lainnya. Tiga mata uang yang tunduk kepada rupiah, yakni dolar (0,77%), euro (0,77%), dan poundsterling (0,72%).Â

Tak sampai di situ, rupiah pun kembali menjadi mata uang nomor satu di Asia. Penguatan rupiah paling tinggi di hadapan baht, yakni mencapai 1,13%. Sementara di hadapan mata uang Asia lainnya, rupiah menguat tak sampai 1%. Rupiah unggul terhadap ringgit (0,84%), yen (0,81%), won (0,80%), dolar (0,76%), dolar Taiwan (0,73%), dolar (0,73%), dan yuan (0,70%).Â Penulis/Editor: Lestari Ningsih
