Rupiah Turun, Pound Stabil Pasca Stimulus Inggris & Sentimen Brexit

Investing.com - bergerak melemah terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat pada penutupan perdagangan Jumat (25/09) petang. Pelemahan rupiah akhir pekan nyaris tidak sejalan dengan kenaikan poundsterling pasca pengumuman stimulus dan sentimen lebih terbuka untuk mencapai kesepakatan Brexit.

Rupiah ditutup turun 0,17% ke 14.870,0 per dolar AS menurut data Investing.com hingga pukul 14.58 WIB. Dilaporkan Vibiznews Jumat (25/09) untuk hari ini perdagangan rupiah vs dollar dibuka stabil ke Rp 14.891, kemudian bergerak lemah ke Rp14.918, dan terakhir sore ini WIB terpantau di posisi Rp 14.872.

Menguatnya rupiah terjadi sementara dollar stabil di pasar uang Eropa setelah terkoreksi terbatas sebelumnya; berada di bawah level 2 bulan tertingginya oleh harapan pasar atas paket stimulus virus corona senilai USD 2,4 triliun akan disetujui pada minggu mendatang.

Sementara poundsterling turun tipis terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat pada pada Jumat (25/09) petang setelah muncul laporan terkini Uni Eropa "terbuka untuk mencapai kesepakatan Brexit" dan Eropa menyiratkan "tetap optimisme namun hati-hati terhadap peluang kesepakatan kedua pihak".

Dikutip dari Poundsterlinglive.com Jumat (25/09), pergerakan pasangan tersebut terjadi setelah Menteri Inggris mengumumkan skema stimulus baru sektor tenaga kerja.

Memang skema dan langkah-langkah dukungan fiskal lainnya sangat membantu, tetapi bagi Menkeu Inggris Rishi Sunak tampaknya masih kurang puas dan jumlah yang ada tidak sama dengan stimulus sebelumnya.
