Nasibnya Berbanding 180 Derajat, Rupiah Bikin Dolar AS Skakmat!

Nasib dolar AS berbanding 180 derajat dengan nilai tukar rupiah pada perdagangan spot, Rabu, 16 September 2020 siang. Tanpa amunisi kuat, mata uang Paman Sam itu tumbang di hadapan mata uang dunia, seperti dolar , euro, poundsterling, franc, yuan, yen, won, dolar , baht, dolar Taiwan, dan pastinya rupiah.

Tertekan hingga nyaris lengser dari ke Rp14,700-an, dolar AS dibuat skakmat oleh rupiah. Sampai dengan pukul 13.30 WIB, rupiah terapresiasi 0,39% ke level Rp14.817 per dolar AS. Angka tersebut selisih tipis dari capaian terbaik rupiah yang sempat bergerak ke Rp14.800 per dolar AS.

Kendati begitu, hal itu sudah cukup bagi rupiah untuk menjadi salah satu mata uang terbaik di dunia. terlebih lagi, rupiah bertahan dengan keunggulan terhadap dolar Australia (0,25%), euro (0,37%), dan poundsterling (0,39%).

Di tingkat regional pun, rupiah masih bertengger di posisi kedua teratas setelah dolar Taiwan (-0,34%). Sederet mata uang Asia yang melemah terhadap rupiah meliputi dolar (0,36%), baht (0,34%), yen (0,33%), dolar Singapura (0,33%), ringgit (0,31%), yuan (0,27%), dan won (0,08%).Penulis/Editor: Lestari Ningsih
