Senin Petang, Rupiah Nyaris Capai 15.000 per Dolar AS

Investing.com - Nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar AS terus melemah pada Senin (16/03) petang. Rupiah nyaris mencapai 15.000 per dolar dan kini turun sebesar 1,42% di 14.950,0 terhadap dolar AS pada pukul 15.52 WIB Senin (16/03) petang menurut data Investing.com.

Rupiah memimpin pelemahan mayoritas mata uang Asia terhadap dolar AS ungkap Kontan Senin. Di bawah rupiah, ada bath Thailand yang melemah 1,05%, peso Filipina melemah 0,67%, ringgit Malaysia melemah 0,67%, won Korea melemah 0,52%, rupee India melemah 0,50%, dolar Singapura melemah 0,39% dan dolar Taiwan melemah 0,11% terhadap dolar AS.

Sementara itu, yen Jepang, yuan China dan dolar Hong Kong menguat terhadap dolar AS hingga siang ini.

Pelemahan rupiah dipengaruhi kekhawatiran penyebaran virus covid-19 di Tanah Air sebagaimana dilansir Kata Data Senin. Vice President Monex Investindo Futures Ariston Tjendra menilai, pasar masih khawatir akan dampak negatif virus corona terhadap perekonomian dalam negeri.

Pemangkasan suku bunga Bank Sentral AS The Federal Reserve mendekati 0% dan stimulus moneter tambahan dinilai tak banyak memberikan dampak positif ke pasar keuangan, terutama aset berisiko ungkapnya.
