Dolar AS mengamuk di hadapan mata uang global pada perdagangan spot Jumat, 9 April 2021. Mata uang Paman Sam itu unggul jauh atas dolar , euro, poundsterling, dolar New Zealand, dolar Kanada, dan franc. Mata uang Asia juga turut menjadi korban dolar AS, seperti baht, dolar , won, yen dolar , yuan, dan rupiah.

Pada saat yang bersamaan, rupiah menyapu bersih mata uang Asia, termasuk won (1,70%), ringgit (0,60%), yen (0,17%), baht (0,17%), dolar Taiwan (0,12%), yuan (0,09%), dan dolar Singapura (0,05%).
