Investing.com - AS memulai tahun baru 2020 ini tak banyak mengalami pergerakan dari awal tahun sebelumnya. Dolar AS masih berada di bawah tekanan lantaran investor berspekulasi terhadap kinerja baik ekonomi AS yang bakal segera berakhir dipicu optimisme perdagangan yang menopang prospek pertumbuhan ekonomi global.

Tanda-tanda kemajuan dari sengketa perdagangan Cina-AS telah menghambat tren kenaikan dolar selama bulan Desember dan indeks dolar AS telah turun 1,9% pada bulan tersebut menurut laporan yang dilansir Reuters Kamis (2/1) pagi. Indeks ini bergerak datar pada hari Kamis di 96,440 setelah menyentuh level terendah enam bulan menjelang hari libur.
