Data Ekonomi AS & Virus Korona Bikin Rupiah Melemah

Investing.com - Nilai tukar dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) terhadap Rupiah Jumat (31/01) petang di pasar spot berada di level Rp 13.655,00 atau melemah -0.11%, setelah pada pagi hari pukul 08.00 WIB dibuka pada level 13.640,00.

Berdasarkan data investing.com, hingga Jumat pukul 15.55 WIB, Rupiah tercatat bergerak fluktuatif di rentang 13.650,00 hingga 13.663,00.

Sementara US Dollar Index yang memonitor pergerakan greenback terhadap sejumlah mata uang utama lainnya terpantau melemah -0,16% ke level 97,71.

Sedangkan untuk mata uang di kawasan Asia Timur beragam, Yen Jepang naik +0.10%, Won Korea turun -0.80%, Dolar Hong Kong naik +0.01%.

Untuk mata uang kawasan ASEAN melemah terhadap Dolar AS sama seperti Rupiah, Dolar Singapura turun -0.29%, Ringgit Malaysia turun -0.32%, Baht Thailand turun -0.34%, dan Peso Filipina turun -0.14%.

Wabah virus korona masih menjadi momok yang mengkhawatirkan bagi warga dunia, terlebih lagi setelah Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia atau WHO telah menetapkan wabah ini sebagai darurat internasional pada Kamis (30/01), yang berdampak pada penurunan nilai Rupiah.

Tidak hanya wabah yang berasal dari kota Wuhan di Cina, hal lain yang menyebabkan Rupiah kembali tiarap adalah aksi jual yang dilakukan pelaku pasar setelah penguatan mata uang Garuda ini sejak awal Desember yang telah mencapai 450 poin.
