China commercial banks' net forex sales rise to $11 bln in April - Reuters

BEIJING, May 20 (Reuters) - China’s commercial banks sold a net $11 billion of foreign exchange in April, compared with a net sale of $6.1 billion in March, the foreign exchange regulator said on Monday.

For the January to April period, net forex sales stood at $20.1 billion, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange said in a statement on its website. (Reporting by Beijing Monitoring Desk Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
