Also back up on the day
The price of the NZDUSD is taking a peek above the 100 day MA at 0.72496. At the same time, the price is above the Friday close and back in the black. Like the AUD, the gains can be attributed to a move back into risk assets.
Technically, the support along a lower trend line also held support on a number of tests today. That trend line is still not far away at 0.7237, and is a risk level going into the close and the new day, but holding is more positive/bullish and gives buyers a reason to buy with risk defined.
